Since giving birth to her third baby, Prince Louis, in April 2018, Kate Middleton has been glowing! And, earlier this week, the mom-of-three threw the best royal christening for Louis and not only did everything go according to plan, but Kate looked happier than ever at the special family event.

During a new interview with People, royal biographer Ingrid Seward of Majesty magazine opened up about how much Kate has changed since being a hands-on mom to three adorable kids. “She has blossomed and looked more confident, beaming with happiness,” Seward said. “Kate is hugely dutiful, but she is quite strong and leading the way behind the scenes.”

Kate’s transformation has made Seward notice that the Duchess of Cambridge is becoming a lot like her mom, Carole Middleton. But this should not come as a surprise, because Kate and her mom have always been very close. When Kate was pregnant with Louis, she suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum and her mom never left her side.

“Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life and for me, as a mother, it is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish,” Kate recently wrote in a heartwarming letter to mark Children’s Hospice Week.

Kate’s family obviously brings out the best in her and she has never shied away from spending time with her older kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The royal children started off their summer with an eventful day at their father Prince William‘s polo match on Sunday, June 10.

They were seen enjoying the beautiful weather playing with toys and laughing with their mom. “I’m sure [Kate] is leading on building all the family relations,” a royal source told People. We’re so glad that Kate is enjoying life as a royal family-of-five!
