There’s nothing like the love between sisters!
Pippa Middleton married her fiancé James Matthews in a gorgeous ceremony on Saturday, May 20 — and of course, her big sister, Princess Kate Middleton was in attendance! But just because she holds the title of Duchess of Cambridge doesn’t mean she wasn’t against holding her little sister’s train as she prepared to walk down the aisle.
In photos taken from Pippa’s big day, Kate was spotted helping to keep the flower girls and page boys together — and her mom instincts even kicked in as she was seen shushing them as they entered the church. But she was also seen straightening her sister's train and veil right before she walked down the aisle.

That special moment captured between the sisters was very similar to a moment that happened at Kate’s 2011 wedding to Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. Pippa sweetly carried the train of her sister’s Alexander McQueen wedding gown as she walked down the red carpet into Westminster Abbey — and Kate swapped roles with her sister on her wedding day.
Kate, who is known for her style moments, opted for yet another Alexander McQueen look for her sister’s wedding, according to E! News. She looked chic in a blush v-neck flowy dress with puffed sleeves and she paired her look with a matching fascinator and nude Gianvito Rossi suede pumps.
Pippa and James said “I do” in a private ceremony at the St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, England and she wore a classic yet modern lace gown by British designer Giles Deacon.
The guest list was small but extremely royal. Princess Kate attended with her husband Prince William, their three-year-old son George and two-year-old Princess Charlotte — and the adorable tots played very important roles in their aunt’s nuptials!
Prince George looked darling in his page boy outfit and Princess Charlotte looked like a little doll in her flower girl dress. Prince William’s brother, Prince Harry, was also in attendance.
