Kate Middleton Reportedly Made A Totally Relatable Mom Mistake While Taking Her Kids Shoe Shopping
She may be a royal, but Kate Middleton really is just like every other mother! According to a new report, the 36-year-old Duchess of Cambridge made a super relatable mom mistake while recently taking her two oldest kids, Prince George, 5, and Princess Charlotte, 3, back to school shoe shopping in London.
Kate was allegedly spotted with George and Charlotte at the Peter Jones department store in Central London a few weeks ago and the proud mom experienced a little hiccup while her kids were trying on new shoes.
A source told Hello! magazine that since George and Charlotte were both wearing summer sandals during the shopping outing, Kate had to borrow pairs of socks from the store for her children to wear while they tried on back to school footwear. Oops! We’ve all been there, though, right?!
Now that George and Charlotte recently returned to classes at St Thomas’s Battersea and Willcocks Nursery School, respectively, Kate is finishing up her maternity leave from royal duties at home with her youngest child, Prince Louis, 4 months.
After Louis’ birth in April, Kate expressed that her favorite moments in life are the “simple” joys she shares with her husband and three children. According to royal biographer Ingrid Seward, the Duchess of Cambridge has also been “beaming with happiness” ever since she and Prince William welcomed their third child. “She has blossomed and looked more confident, beaming with happiness,” Seward said of Kate as Louis’ royal christening. “Kate is hugely dutiful, but she is quite strong and leading the way behind the scenes.”
Though Kate seems happier than ever now, she’s also been open about struggling with some aspects of motherhood in the past. “[Being a parent] is lonely at times. You do feel quite isolated,” she once said.
