So pretty!

Just days after celebrating her sister Pippa Middeton’s wedding, Kate Middleton dropped by the RHS Chelsea Flower Show — ahead of the annual event’s opening to the public — on Monday, May 22.

For the special outing, the royal mother-of-two donned a mid-length dress designed by Rochas, which was fittingly patterned with a bright-white floral motif. She accented the look with nude court shoes and emerald drop earrings, visible beneath a stylish side-swept ponytail.

The Duchess of Cambridge — who last year attended the event with husband Prince William — was treated to a guided tour of the show’s famed horticultural creations.

Of particular interest would have been the much-hyped creation from Professor Nigel Dunnett. Set within an “urban landscape,” the controversial offering features tower block and street art — a first for the 104-year-old show.

She also viewed the David Austen Rose exhibit where she saw the “William and Catherine Rose,” which was named in 2012 following the couple’s royal wedding the preceding year.

After touring the gardens, the young royal attended a private reception alongside other notable attendees including Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, who recently announced his upcoming retirement from royal duties.

Other members of the royal family on hand at the event were Prince Edward and the Countess of Wessex, Princess Eugenie, alongside boyfriend Jack Brooksbank, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and Princess Alexandra.

The event — which hosts more than 500 exhibitors and is expected to attract some 165,000 visitors — will also draw a wealth of celebrity guests with the likes of Judi Dench turning out for the opening day.

The event comes just two days after many members of the royal family celebrated Pippa Middleton’s wedding to James Matthews. It may not have technically been a royal wedding, but it was a day fit for a queen —
congratulations again to the happy couple!
