Prince William and Duchess Kate Pay a Visit to the Aga Khan Centre Ahead of Their Pakistan Trip
Aww! Prince William and Duchess Kate (née Middleton) stepped out for an outing at the Aga Khan Centre in the King’s Cross area of London on Wednesday, October 2. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were all smiles as they joined the Muslim spiritual leader for an event ahead of their upcoming tour of Pakistan.
The adorable pair seemed happier than ever as they enjoyed an engagement hosted by the Aga Khan himself, Prince Shah Karim Al Hussaini, 82, to showcase modern Pakistani culture before they jet off on their official visit to the country from October 14 to 18.
Kate, 37, looked dazzling in a flowing, teal and emerald-colored maxidress by designer ARoss Girl x Soler. The brunette beauty accessorized her gorgeous gown with a pair of ceramic drop earrings by Pakistani designer Zeen. Her husband, on the other hand, looked handsome in a classic, navy blue suit.
Besides showcasing the culture of Pakistan, Kate and William, also 37, also met with a number of people at the event. The royal twosome were spotted chatting with many people from Pakistan, including community leaders, musicians, chefs, artists and others.
According to their website, the Aga Khan Centre in London is a place for “education, knowledge, cultural exchange and insight into Muslim civilizations. The organizations that are located here work together to bridge the gap in understanding about Muslim cultures and to connect the public to global development issues,” the site explains. “The Aga Khan Centre hosts a variety of events, exhibitions and talks that are open to the public.”
William and Kate’s upcoming royal tour of Pakistan marks the couple’s first tour since January 2018. During their last royal tour together, the they visited Sweden and Norway. The royal duo’s tour comes as brother and sister-in-law Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan (née Markle) conclude their first royal tour as a family of three with baby Archie in Africa.
