Kensington Palace has confirmed that Prince William and Kate Middleton will once again attend the BAFTAs (aka the British equivalent of the Oscars) on Sunday, Feb. 18. Kate, 36 — who is currently pregnant with twins — made her debut on the BAFTAs red carpet last year in a custom-made, floor-length gown from British designer Alexander Queen. She braved arctic temperatures with the off-the-shoulder design to show-off green and violet embroidery and satin ribbon detailing.

William, who has served as a BAFTA president since 2010, has previously donned a tux to attend the event on a handful of occasions. This time around, the 35-year-old royal will also present the Fellowship award — the ceremony’s highest accolade — to actor Sir Ridley Scott. This year’s event is set to take place this Sunday at London’s Royal Albert Hall. It will be hosted by Absolutely Fabulous star Joanna Lumley.

Before their swanky appearance, the duo is expected to spend some quality time with their young children — Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2, over the weekend. The doting parents have cleared their schedules to coincide with the youngsters’ school breaks. George, who attends Thomas’s Battersea school, is out of class this week as is Charlotte, who is a pupil at Willcocks Nursery School.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have previously used the kids’ winter breaks to take their little ones skiing. In March 2016, the young family spent a few days in the French Alps for the children’s first ski holiday and released a series of family portraits following the getaway.

The snaps, which featured George and Charlotte, showed the Cambridges at their most intimate. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share new photographs of their family,” a Kensington Palace spokesperson said at the time. “The images show Their Royal Highnesses enjoying a short skiing holiday with their children in the French Alps. This was their first holiday as a family-of-four and the first time either of the children had played in the snow. It was very special and fun short holiday for the family. The Duke and Duchess hope people enjoy the photos.”

We have no doubt William and Kate will enjoy their break from royal duties, having recently returned home from a royal tour of Sweden and Norway. The official trip saw the couple take on a series of routine activities — walkabouts, gallery visits, and dignitary hand-shaking — as well as a series of glittering events, rubbing shoulders with the likes of stars Stellan Skarsgård and Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander.
