After having a glamorous New York City baby shower and then going on a royal tour of Morocco with Prince Harry, pregnant Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has had quite a busy few weeks. Her sister-in-law Kate Middleton‘s schedule has also been jam-packed as she recently traveled to Northern Ireland for a brief royal tour with her husband, Prince William. But the two duchesses finally had time to reunite in London at Buckingham Palace for a celebration on Tuesday, March 5!

Earlier today, Kate, 37, Meghan, also 37, Harry, 34, and William, 36, got together to attend a royal reception that celebrated Prince Charles holding the Prince of Wales title for 50 years. Charles’ mom, Queen Elizabeth, hosted the special gathering and made sure that everyone came to the daytime event dressed to the nines.

Meghan and Kate both looked like they were ready for spring and donned similar, light-colored outfits for the occasion. The pregnant Duchess of Sussex flaunted her baby bump in a gorgeous, metallic brocade dress with an Amanda Wakeley white coat. Though she’s due to give birth this April, Meghan still wore a pair of sky-high heels and held onto Harry’s arm as she made her way around the palace.

At the reception, Kate was by her husband’s side at all times and looked stunning in an ankle-length green dress with cream heels and a silver clutch.

The last time Harry and Meghan were spotted in public with William and Kate was at Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham estate for the royal family’s Christmas celebrations on December 25, 2018. The two couples were headed to morning service at the Church of St Mary Magdalene.

At Prince Charles’ Buckingham Palace reception, Harry was a true gentleman and kept Meghan entertained during the entire event. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently spent some alone time together when they saw Tina Turner‘s new show, Tina: The Musical, on Saturday, March 2 at the Aldwych Theatre in London. “A show source tells me their visit was private, unexpected and that they ‘thoroughly enjoyed themselves,’” royal correspondent Omid Scobie tweeted on Sunday, March 3.

At Charles’ palace party, Meghan was spotted holding her baby bump while speaking to the queen’s daughter, Princess Anne. According to Life & Style Weekly, Meghan has been relying on her new royal family to give her some parenting tips for her first royal baby. And since Meghan and Kate are very close, Kate has been teaching Meghan everything that she knows about parenting. “After having three children, Kate is a pro at motherhood and has been advising Meghan on what lies ahead,” an insider previously said. Meghan will surely be ready for anything that comes her way when her baby arrives!

Kate and Meghan seemingly put their royal feud to rest after Meghan announced last October that she and Harry are expecting their first child. A source previously told In Touch Weekly that Meghan and Kate’s feud was previously so bad that they were “barely on speaking terms.”

At the event, Kate and Meghan both shared the spotlight and mingled with guests at the reception. According to Us Weekly, Kate is soon planning on throwing Meghan a “sort of private baby-centric event” in the UK to celebrate her pregnancy. How fun!
