In the photos, you can see Ryder, 14, making different facial expressions at a sleeping Rani as he cuddles her in his arms. We’re melting inside! “Aw sweeties,” said Kate, 39, in the comments section. “Love you so much.” This is the first time that Ryder shared images of him and his newborn half-sister on social media, which were posted on Oct. 15.
The Fabletics co-founder welcomed her first baby girl on Oct. 2 alongside Danny Fujikawa, and it was truly life-changing for both of them. “She’s always wanted a daughter so this is really a dream come true,” a source told People. The How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days star shares Ryder with her ex-husband, Chris Robinson. Ryder and Rani are also half-siblings to Bingham, 7, whose father is musician Matt Bellamy. Kate may be over the moon about the birth of her first daughter, but it seems as though she is not the only one! “Her big brothers are so excited — they’ll be so protective and sweet to her always,” the source added.
In May, the star opened up to New York Magazine’s The Cut on what life is like at home with her sons. “One of them didn’t brush their teeth, the other one left their clothes everywhere and has to put them in the hamper,” she revealed. “My big one is old enough to make his own breakfast, so now it’s about, ‘You’re not eating that. No, that’s not what you’re eating for breakfast.’ I’m trying to get him to not eat cereal every morning.”
It seems as though Kate is very excited to add a baby girl to the mix. Ryder and Bingham “are obsessed with Rani” and visited her in the hospital after Kate gave birth, a source told Us Weekly. Though Ryder is technically the oldest, Kate reportedly said that Ryder will always be her “baby.” In an emotional post on his 14th birthday in January, Kate wrote, “And then he turned 14… but always my baby. Cried twice today already. You feeling me parents?! Where does the time go? Ryder Robinson, you are one spectacular young man and I am one proud Mama!” Luckily for Kate, Rani is still very young so hopefully, she gets to enjoy every single second of her growing up!
