Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy have officially called off their engagement after a four year courtship.
"Kate and Matt have been separated for some time now," the actress' rep confirmed to 'People.' "Despite this, they remain very close friends and committed co-parents."
The actress, 35, and her musician fiancé, 36, became engaged in April 2011 just months before the couple welcomed their first child, son Bingham "Bing" Hawn Bellamy, in July 2011.

Kate also has a 10-year-old son, Ryder Russell Robinson, with ex-husband Chris Robinson.
Though the 'Almost Famous' star and Matt had a long engagement, Kate — whose mother and father figure are Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, respectively — previously stated she didn't mind waiting to walk down the aisle.
"My parents aren't married," she told 'Women's Health' in October. "And one of the reasons why they never got married is because they had been married before and they liked it the way it was. They didn't feel like they needed a piece of paper to be committed."
"So for me, I know that marriage is not a golden ticket," she added.
