After Julia Louis-Dreyfus won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series at Monday night's Emmy Awards, we were shocked to witness a make-out sess between her and fellow winner, Bryan Cranston, before she even hit the stage!
Despite the fact that Julia has been happily married to writer Brad Hall since 1987, she couldn't help but praise her former co-star's kissing skills!
"I thought it was pretty good. He went for it, man. He goes for everything," the 53-year-old told reporters after the Breaking Bad star's ambush.
But it turns out, the two planned the heated moment ahead of time, with permission from both of their spouses, of course (Bryan brought wife of 25 years, Robin, as his date). The smooch was in reference to a bit the duo performed earlier while presenting an award.
Julia had joked that the actor, who once played her boyfriend Tim Whatley on the hit sitcom Seinfeld, looked familiar, but admitted she couldn't quite remember his appearance on the show.
Clearly, the 58-year-old wanted to help jog the brunette beauty's memory, so he planted a big one on her. Afterwards, Julia acknowledged, "Yeah, he was on Seinfeld!"
Due in part to his talented lip action, Bryan went on to have a stellar night, scooping up the Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series prize before helping his cast accept the award for Outstanding Drama Series. Breaking Bad, which ended its run last September, walked away with a total of five Primetime Emmys.
