She's having an amazing night at the SAG Awards, even though she isn't there! Julia Louis Dreyfus completed her final round of chemotherapy for breast cancer on Jan. 11, so she wasn't feeling well enough to attend the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Jan. 21. However, that didn't stop her the Veep actress from raking in the trophies!

Right at the top of the show, it was announced that Julia won the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series. Connie Britton and Mandy Moore, who were announcing the winner, said "Julia couldn't be here this evening. Julia we are thinking of you, and we love you, and we are happy to accept this award on your behalf." It was also a historic moment, as Julia became the first TV actress to win five individual trophies. Such an amazing accomplishment!

Just minutes later, Julia was honored again as part of the cast of Veep, which
won Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series. "I would like to thank Julia, our leader, who so, unfortunately, is not here," said the cast accepting the award, who were obviously missing their leading lady.

After learning she won the awards, Julia took to Twitter to thank her crew and supporters. "I wish I could have been @SAGawards tonight but have to admit it's pretty fun to watch in my pj's," she wrote. "So honored to win. So proud to be a union member. So happy for my @VeepHBO bozos for winning ensemble award. Miss being at the table with you all. How was the chicken?"

Of course Julia's absence left a damper on the show, but we did get some news from co-star Tony Hale! Not only is she feeling "fantastic" and he assured that "she's really doing great,” but he also revealed when the show, which went on hiatus so that Julia could undergo cancer treatment, will begin filming again! The final season should get back to work in the summer of 2018. We're so excited, and so happy to hear Julia is doing well!
