Reporter Richard Stolley, who was a reporter for Life magazine in 1963, was one of the first people to ever watch the only video evidence of President John F. Kennedy's assassination.

Abraham Zapruder, who captured the 26-second clip on his eight-millimeter camera, sat down with Stolley and two secret service agents and asked, "Are you ready for this?"

"It was as if we had been simultaneously gut punched," Stolley says of watching the now infamous video. "That moment, in all my years in journalism, was probably the most dramatic I've ever encountered."
