Johnny Depp Thanks Wife Amber Heard For "Putting Up With Him" - Closer Weekly

Johnny Depp expressed some serious gratitude to his 29-year-old wife, Amber Heard, while accepting the Desert Palm Achievement Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Saturday, Jan. 2.

“I also have to thank my wife Amber for putting up with me, for living with all these characters, which can’t be easy,” he revealed during his sweet acceptance speech, according to Us Weekly. “It’s hard for me — it’s got to be hard for her.”

The Pirates of the Caribbean star, 52, and Amber tied the knot in a legal ceremony at their LA home in February 2015 and later exchanged vows in a beach ceremony after dating for four years.

Johnny — who is a parent to daughter Lily-Rose, 16, and son Jack, 13 — was previously married to Lori Anne Allison from 1983 to 1985 and has been engaged to Jennifer Grey, Sherilyn Fenn and Winona Ryder. This is Amber’s first marriage.
