John Travolta Welcomes Daughter Ella to Instagram 1 Year After She Encouraged Him to Join — Watch!

It may have taken some time, but John Travolta and Kelly Preston‘s daughter, Ella, has joined Instagram — to the delight of her father!

The Oscar-nominated actor took to Instagram on Wednesday, May 22, to reveal to the world that his only daughter, 19, has joined the popular social media platform. “So a year ago, Ella convinced Kelly and I to be on Instagram. And this year, Ella has decided to be on Instagram,” the 65-year-old said in the clip. “So welcome Ella. And follow her!”

The video concludes with John and Ella saying bye to his fans.

“I can see both mom and dad in Ella. She is beautiful,” one fan said in the comments section of the clip. Another added, “Such a great dad!!!” One person chimed in with, “Great post John. You da man!”

The Pulp Fiction star and his wife, 56, have been married since 1991. Aside from Ella, they also share an 8-year-old son named Benjamin. Back in 2009, the pair tragically lost their first born, Jett, while on vacation with his family in the Bahamas after suffering a seizure. He was 16. Last month, The Cat and the Hat actress paid tribute to her oldest child.

“To my sweet love, Jett … you are in our hearts forever,” Kelly captioned a black and white Instagram photo showing her and John kissing Jett while in bed. “I send love to all of the beautiful autistic children and the wonderful people who love them. May we all shine and grant love and respect to children with special needs #autismawareness #autism.”

“It’s the worst thing that’s ever happened in my life,” The Face/Off costar once told Us Weekly of the death of his son. “The truth is, I didn’t know if I was going to make it.”

We’re just glad to see how much love John and Kelly have for all of their kids.
