John Travolta Has Proud Dad Moment Watching Teen Son Ben Ski Down Mountain: ‘Snow Ski Adventures’

John Travolta watched in amazement as his talented son, Ben, showed off his ski tricks in a new video.

On Monday, October 13, John, 70, shared a montage of his youngest child skiing down a mountain in his snow gear like a total pro on Instagram. At one point in the video, Ben, 13, did some impressive jumps and spins while on his skis.

“Ben’s summer snow ski adventures in the southern hemisphere!” the caption of John’s video said.

Fans and famous friends of the Grease actor were very impressed by Ben’s skiing abilities. “Ben is such a good skier!” Rita Wilson wrote in a comment underneath the post.

“What an incredible athlete he has turned out to be!! No limit to his potential,” another person wrote, while another said, “Ben is such a pro at skiing now. You must be proud @johntravolta,” with a heart emoji.

Ben is gearing up to celebrate his 14th birthday on November 23. Last year for Ben’s birthday, John shared a sweet tribute to his youngest child on Instagram, featuring photos and clips of him growing up.

“I can’t believe my baby boy is now a teenager,” the proud dad wrote. “Ben turns 13 today. I love you my son!”

In addition to Ben, John shares daughter Ella and late son Jett with late wife Kelly Preston. Just recently, Ella, 24, revealed her favorite movie that her dad has ever made — Paris With Love.

“That was my favorite movie when I was like 8 or 9,” she told E! News on April 18 while attending the 30th Anniversary Screening of Pulp Fiction during the 2024 TCM Classic Film Festival.

John said that it was “a rough movie.” Ella responded, “I loved that movie, I still love that movie.”

“I recently binge watched all of his movies just again as well,” the singer said of her father’s film catalog, adding, “which was really cool and really fun to just watched everything in a new period of time.”

“It’s a masterclass in acting for sure, to just watch that body of work,” Ella said.

For John, seeing that his children are interested in watching his films is very rewarding. “I love that they like it,” he told the outlet.

This summer, John attended the Olympics in Paris with his daughter.

“For a long time, John was just existing,” an insider told Closer in August. “Ella mentioned how cool it would be to go, and the next thing you know, John had planned a five-star trip for the two of them, with shopping sprees, luxury hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants and special museum tours, as well as the sporting event. It’s almost like he’s making up for lost time.”

After the outing, John returned back home to Florida where he kept the good times rolling.

“He arranged a big dinner out with friends — everyone is saying the old John is back, that he’s finally ready to embrace living again,” the source said. “He’ll always miss Kelly, but that doesn’t mean he can’t enjoy life.”
