They couldn’t look happier! John Stamos and his pregnant fiancée Caitlin McHugh were spotted on the 2018 SAG Awards red carpet — and her baby bump stole the spotlight. The couple, who announced that they are expecting back in December, were all smile as they posed on the red carpet.
Wearing a black gown with a thigh-high slit, Caitlin was glowing as John placed a kiss on her growing belly at the awards show. This will be the first child for the couple, who announced their engagement last October. “I asked…she said yes! …And we lived happily ever after,” John wrote after popping the question at Disneyland.
Previously, the Full House star and the brunette beauty were spotted at the airport hand in hand also flaunting their growing little bundle of joy. John was returning home after receiving a Lifetime Achievement honor for his work with the charity Childhelp in Arizona on Sunday, Jan. 14. “Humbled to accept @Childhelp Lifetime Achievement Award. Of the ten million children saved by @Childhelp, I’ve met thousands, and to me, this award is not a prize that I’ll look at for my own participation, but something that represents my favorite moments with these amazing children. Thank you,” he wrote on Instagram. Watch the video below to see the adorable pics!
The 54-year-old has recently opened up about fatherhood and how he’s preparing for his little bundle of joy to arrive. “I’ll be a fun dad. I’ve been practicing for a long time,” John jokingly said to People. “I’ve done every schtick you can do with a baby on TV… all the bits and jokes and diaper gags. I’ll probably just do all that stuff.” Can you imagine having Uncle Jesse as your dad?!
John has always been open up about wanting to become a father. “I hope [to have kids],” he once said. “That’s always been my plan. It’s just taken me a lot longer than I anticipated. It would be a tragedy if I didn’t have children and I finally found the right woman — the perfect woman.” It looks like everything is finally falling into place for John and Caitlin and we couldn’t be more thrilled for them!
