Morning Joe’s Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski Tease They Are ‘Looking Ahead’ With New Photo

Joe Scarborough flashed a slight smile in a new photo with his wife, Mika Brzezinski, sharing a glimpse into their private life.

The Morning Joe anchors posed together in the snap while standing outside of their home in front of some flowers on Sunday, January 26. Joe, 61, wore a gray sweater while Mika, 57, stood in front of him with sunglasses perched on top of her head.

In another photo, Mika showed off a piece of home decor – a unique plant to add to her collection.

“Happy SUNday. I am obsessed with my ponytail palm. Her name is Serratcha,” she captioned the Instagram post. “Along with @joescarborough we are looking ahead to sunny skies and maybe more sleep! #love #sleep #flowers #ponytail palms.”

“Love a pony palm!” one person commented on the photos, while another said, “I have one not as green and dense as yours. What is your secret to caring for it?”

Morning Joe’s official Instagram page commented a series of red heart emojis and flame emojis.

Mika and Joe are pretty low-key when it comes to their relationship outside of their political talk show. In recent months, the Know Your Value founder opened up about her marriage to the former politician in a rare interview.

“Both of us practice a lot of patience and acceptance, and whether you’re together 24/7 or not, that’s key,” Mika told Woman’s World of lessons learned while working with her husband in October 2024. “Otherwise I’m incredibly blessed and lucky. It’s very hard, and I talk to young women about this, but we have so many opportunities, so please don’t forget the most important one in your life. It can be to have a career and be successful and support your family and yourself. It’s important to do that.”

“But if your dreams are to have a family — and you don’t have to have those dreams — know that it’s OK to be spending a lot of time and effort on a good connection,” Mika continued. “If this is something that you want, it can be hard to find, but it can happen and you have much more time than you think. And remember to take love seriously.”

Mika and Joe have been married since 2018 and have worked together on Morning Joe since 2007. She is a mom to daughters Emilie and Carlie Hoffer, whom she shares with ex-husband Jim Hoffer, while Joe is a dad to kids Joey, Andrew, Kate and Jack from his previous marriages.

Mika previously shared a look into her home with Joe in a series of photos ahead of Christmas in 2024. She held a photo shoot with her cat named Meatball around the house as well as the outdoor patio, revealing that the house was decorated for the holidays.

“Meatball prefers his table top photo shoots to being stuck outside with the the scary Xmas blow ups! #perfection #purrrrfect #meatball #rescuesarethebest,” the host captioned the December 20 snapshots.

Pictured in the snaps were inflatable Christmas decorations, including a dinosaur holding a candy cane and a life-sized Santa Claus inflatable to put everyone in the holiday spirit around the home.
