Aww!Joe Manganiello Sweetly Gushes That ‘Life is Great’ Because of Wife Sofia Vergara
True love is hard to find in Hollywood, but Joe Manganiello gushing about wife Sofia Vergara is enough to make anyone believe in fairy tales. The Magic Mike hunk recently dished about all the reasons why his life changed for the better since marrying the Modern Family actress in November 2015.
“My life is great because I really like my wife,” the 42-year-old admitted to Men’s Health. “I like talking to her. I like goofing around with her. We f–king laugh all day long every day. My favorite thing in the world is making my wife laugh so much she cries. It’s the best.”
The True Blood actor even revealed the one specific quality that attracted him to Sofia, 46, right away. “I love that she knows how to take care of herself, obviously, because I needed to be with somebody confident,” he explained, referring to the time when a female extra ripped costar Matthew McConaughey‘s thong off while filming Magic Mike. “It takes a really strong and secure individual to handle the types of projects I’ve done.”
While most of their date nights include jetting around to lavish destinations, Joe admitted that the A-list pair prefer snuggling on the couch at home.
“We marathon Netflix and watch shows like Game of Thrones, Mindhunter, and Naked and Afraid,” he revealed to the outlet. The Rampage actor even dished that one of their most classic date nights include sitting in a parked car and singing along to The Cure while eating shaved ice. So cute!
“When we’re at home, we’re opposites in all the best ways and we’re compatible in all the best ways,” Joe gushed of Sofia. “Masculine/feminine, yin and yang, whatever you want to call it.” And he made sure to know that he will always be a gentleman when it comes to his leading lady. “I hold the door open for my wife, and that will never f–king change.”
