Joanna Gaines Is ‘Not Complaining’ About Already Being In The Christmas Spirit Before Halloween

HGTV alum Joanna Gaines has no shame when it comes to celebrating Christmas — even if it’s before Halloween. On Thursday, Oct. 25, the former Fixer Upper star took to her Instagram stories to share how she’s gearing up to the holidays. But it isn’t Halloween she is anticipating — it’s Christmas!

“My sister couldn’t wait for December and I’m not complaining!” Joanna, 40, captioned the video of her showing off her younger sister Mary’s living room with a cozy fire as The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole plays in the background.

She didn’t end her Christmas-prepping festivities there, though. In a second story post, Joanna showed off the Twelve Nights candle from the Magnolia Signature Candle Collection. “Burning my favorite Christmas candle,” she wrote. We guess it’s easy to say that for Joanna, Christmas is definitely the most wonderful time of the year!

Right now, Joanna may be getting ready to celebrate Christmas, but just last week, the mom-of-five and her husband, Chip Gaines, were celebrating the milestone anniversary of their company, Magnolia. The amateur business began in 2003 when the couple first began pursuing their dream, and now, 15 years later, has flourished into a multi-faceted company.

“15 years ago… Happy Anniversary Magnolia!” Joanna started off her tribute to Chip, 43, and Magnolia in an Instagram post. “I have zero regrets though about stepping out and just going for it — this shop, this business, it has our hearts. We are so thankful and this is why we SILOBRATE! Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years, we wouldn’t be here without you.”

15 years ago… Happy Anniversary Magnolia! A few things I want to call out from these photos: Red lipstick. The vase on the counter- I remember I stenciled the words “imagine” and “dream” on these glass jugs I we bought for a buck each at a garage sale. They were my best seller that season. 😂 The sign on the building was what @chipgaines surprised me with when we found out we couldn’t afford a real sign. He always saves the day. This was also the year that the phrase “Live Laugh & Love” was at its peak in popularity. And my biggest regret was selling that large antique counter in photo #3. I still think about that thing. I have zero regrets though about stepping out and just going for it- this shop, this business, it has our hearts. We are so thankful and this is why we SILOBRATE! It seems as though Joanna has many reasons for being as happy as a clam these days. Besides the fact that Christmas is nearly months away, the couple has been married for more than 15 years, and in that time, have created a beautiful family with their five children: Drake, 13, Ella Rose, 11, Duke, 10, Emmie Kay, 8, and the newest addition to their family, Crew, who is four months old. With this being Crew’s first Christmas, we are looking forward to seeing if Joanna does anything different or extra special for their growing family this time around!
