Everything happens for a reason, right Jimmy Fallon?
Weeks after Nicole Kidman confessed to the 'Tonight Show' host that he blew his chance to date her in the early 2000s, Jimmy admitted he's glad they didn't end up in a relationship!
"It all worked out. She’s obviously happy with Keith Urban and I lucked out — I have the best wife in the whole world," the star said on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Friday, Jan. 30.

"This was 2002... I’m single, but I don’t think about this remotely, my chances of dating [her], I think she was named most beautiful person that year! So this is beyond my understanding," Jimmy recalled of meeting 'The Hours' actress to Ellen DeGeneres.
"My friend calls, [and] says, 'I have Nicole Kidman with me. She wants to meet you.' And [I go], 'You’re gonna bring Nicole Kidman to my apartment?!' I mean, I’m seriously living the bachelor life. I have sneakers and video games all over my house," he added.

"I just remember, I liked you," Nicole, 47, told the bewildered comedian during her Jan. 6 'Tonight Show' appearance. "And then you put a video game on or something and I was like, 'This is so bad!'"
Jimmy is now happily wed to film producer Nancy Juvonen, 47, and the couple have two daughters, Winnie and Frances.
After Nicole's 2001 divorce from Tom Cruise — with whom she has two adopted children, Isabella, 22, and Connor, 19 — she married country star Keith Urban, 47. They have two daughters, Sunday Rose, 7, and Faith, 5, together.
