Get well soon, Jillian Barberie!

The 49-year-old TV star — known for previously appearing on Fox NFL Sunday — took to Twitter on Sunday, March 13 to reveal she had been badly bitten by a dog and received 10 stitches for the injury.

"So this just happened. My friend's dog bit my lip and took a chunk out. On my way to [the] hospital for stitches. Yay," Jillian wrote on the micro-blogging site beside a photo of her split lip.

Later, Jillian returned to Twitter to post another snapshot of herself after receiving stitches. "4:00 a.m. and eight stitches later… Lip is gonna be fine. #DogBite #Ouch… [He] too a chunk out," she wrote. In a subsequent tweet, Jillian confirmed to her confused fans that she did get 10 stitches — eight on the outside of her lip and two on the inside.
