When it comes to friends, it sounds like Jessica Mulroney is the best of the best.
In a new Harper’s Bazaar interview, Meghan Markle‘s gal pal just revealed that she considers keeping her friendship with the Duchess of Sussex on the down-low very important. Despite the site’s efforts, the Canadian fashion stylist refused to open up too much about what goes on behind closed doors when they get together.
“This is my first interview that I’ve done since the [royal] wedding or anything. Listen, every person has to have a bit of privacy in their life. There are certain things I hold very dear and secret,” Jessica said. “There are things I’ll never talk about for sure. My life is an open book, but there’s always a few secret pages in the back that nobody will be able to read.”
Jessica also admitted that she holds her family — including 8-year-old twin sons John and Brian as well as 5-year-old daughter Ivy — in the highest of regards. She has been married to her husband, Ben Mulroney, since 2008.
“There’s this misconception that I have a life; my life is work and family,” Jessica added. “When we’re together, we wanna be super present with the kids and each other and spend all the time that we can together.”
Jessica — who did take some time out of her busy schedule so she could attend Meghan’s recent baby shower in New York City — may be keeping things in the friendship hush-hush, but the mommy-to-be returns the favor in a different way.
“My social life has really taken a little beating, but my girlfriends all understand,” Jessica continued. “I’m just too tired. I just wanna be home with the kids.”
The former Suits star’s inner circle might be getting smaller, but we’re positive that Jessica will make the cut.
