Parenting isn’t easy, folks! Jessica Biel recently appeared on an episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and dished about what it’s like being at home with her two-year-old son, Silas. The 35-year-old actress shares her first child with “Mirrors” singer Justin Timberlake — and she joked that it might be their last since his behavior has been so challenging as he’s in his “terrible twos!”

Stephen asked Jessica how many of her home’s surfaces were covered in “what you hope is chocolate,” and she replied, “every square inch. If it’s not the hopeful chocolate, it’s stickers and Play-Doh and gak and crumbs and who knows? Everything is covered with everything.”

Yep, that sounds about right to us! The age is so infamous it has its own nickname, but according to the star, she’s heard it only gets worse. “For me, this is terrible. But I’ve heard so much about the ‘three-teens.’ The three-year-olds are called three-teens because they’re so insane. They’re just like having tiny teenagers, which is way worse than having big teenagers.”

And, according to Stephen, she’s absolutely right. He joked that any parents complaining about the terrible twos are first time parents who have never experienced what it’s like having a three-year-old. We bet that didn’t make the actress feel any better!

But, like any mom, of course, Jessica loves her son (and probably felt bad about venting about him on national TV). “He’s like the greatest of all time,” she said, visibly backtracking. “Now, I’m feeling really bad. He’s cute. He’s funny.” Of course, Stephen didn’t let her off the hook that easily. He added, “We’re going to edit out the part where you’re nice to him and years from now he’ll just play this for his therapist.” LOL — we loved her honesty!
