When reporter Giuliana Rancic asked her about her little boy's latest milestone, she told a super adorable story about how the two-year-old is already talking like an adult to his famous mom! "Now he's saying to me, 'No, no, mommy, we are not going to do this anymore and this is not a match. This is not a match,'" she shared. "Which means I don't want to do this." Jessica added, laughing, "I think this comes from the matching game. One of these things is like the other."
The 7th Heaven star and her husband, Justin Timberlake, married in 2012 and welcomed Silas in April 2015. In a previous interview with Stephen Colbert, Jessica confessed that the couple's son is going through the "terrible twos."
"For me, this is terrible. But I’ve heard so much about the ‘three-teens.’ The three-year-olds are called three-teens because they're so insane. They’re just like having tiny teenagers, which is way worse than having big teenagers," she said. And even though she's referred to Silas as "the greatest of all time," she doesn't want him to take up a career in music like his daddy.
"I would like our baby to inherit Justin’s charm and his sense of humor. There are many qualities I’d love him to get from Justin. But there’s one thing I don’t want for him. I really don’t want him to be a musician," Jessica said. "It's such a challenging existence being an artist. It's hard. I just want him to be happy whatever he does." We just love watching Silas grow up into the adorable little boy that he is and we're hoping Jessica brings him as her date to next year's Emmys!
