It should come as no surprise that Jerry Seinfeld, arguably one of the funniest men on earth, noticed just how good of a sense of humor his wife Jessica had when they first met — and he is still all about it 20 years later.

The pair attended the Good+Foundation 2019 Bash sponsored by FIJI Water at Victorian Gardens in Central Park, NYC, and discussed their marriage, as well as how they’ve been in each other’s corner all these years. “Very funny. Very funny. From the day I met her, that was really our connection,” the comedian exclusively tells Closer Weekly of his wife’s best attribute. “We always have fun and we laugh and she’s got a great sense of humor. She’s very quick and sarcastic and all the qualities that I like. She’s very sharp. She catches all the wrongness.”

“All the badness!” the author interjects, adding that she love her husband’s humor. “So funny! We cry. We just making each other cry and laugh all day.”

The Seinfeld alum is also reminded of his upcoming wedding anniversary. “You know what, we got married in 99. I thought, I think you thought, ‘boy, the math will be so easy’ and it’s not, it’s impossible. I have no idea. So this is 20?” the comedian ask his wife after she reminds him their 20th anniversary is at the end of the year. “So this December will be 20 years? Wow. That’s amazing,” he gushed.

Aside from their strong connection when it comes to humor, the loving couple is also all about supporting one another with their charity efforts [Jessica is the founder of Good+Foundation]. “I think it’s very natural. I don’t think it’s something we think about. I think, I love what he does and I support his work and he has really responded to the work that we do and has been there from the beginning and has heard me and watched me and listened to me,” Jessica explained. “And he naturally just wants to be there and be supportive because he loves the work and he loves me.”

Jessica and Jerry share three kids — Sascha, 18, Julian, 16, and Shepherd, 13. The pair once revealed that they are both “pretty relaxed” when it comes to parenting, but they have a great technique when they have to discipline.

“They have their little nastiness, and they close themselves in their rooms and stuff. But you can just barge in and go, ‘OK. Out of the room, off the screen.’ You can push them around,” Jerry jokingly admitted to Us Weekly before adding that he’s “definitely more laid-back” than Jessica when it comes to parenting their children.

Well, after 20 years, it certainly seems like the couple is more often on the same page than not!
