Wow!Jennifer Lopez Teams Up With Her Daughter Emme, 11, for Incredible Duet
What a memorable night! Jennifer Lopez kicked off her first North American tour in over six years by inviting her daughter, Emme, on stage for quite the duet.
On Friday, June 7, the 49-year-old started her 24-city tour at The Forum in Los Angeles, and the crowd received plenty of notable hits from the singer, including “If You Had My Love” and Jenny From the Block.” However, it was the performer’s duet with Emme, 11, that really rocked the crowd. Jennifer took to Instagram to share a clip of the pair singing “Invincible” from her film, Second Act.
“I can’t take it!” the actress captioned the video. She added, “#Emme #Limitless #ProudMama #JLoItsMyParty.” Take a look at it below!
People were loving the performance, as they took to the comments section. “This brought tears to my eyes last night,” one fan said. “Like mother, like daughter,” another added. Although, one person commented that Emme’s voice is all thanks to her father, latin singer Marc Anthony.
“She deff got it from her dadda!” the fan said.
Emme is a twin to Jennifer’s other child, son, Maximilian. The hitmaker is currently engaged to former baseball player Alex Rodriguez. Once they tie the knot they will be blending their families — the 43-year-old has two kids of his own, daughters Natasha, 14, and Ella, 11. After her performance, Emme joined A-Rod in the crowd to enjoy the rest of her mom’s show.
This isn’t the first time that Jennifer has showed off her daughter’s talent — earlier this month, she took to YouTube to show her followers a clip of Emme singing Alicia Keys‘ hit song “If I Ain’t Got You.” Afterwards, the proud mom couldn’t help but gush.
“We should have her come out and do something on tour,” she told staff members who were cheering for Emme. “You want to? You want to put a little piece in the show?”
So great to see the bond that these two have!
