Jennifer Lopez Looks Incredible in New Video Showing Off the Singer’s Rare Makeup-Free Face
If only we could all look like Jennifer Lopez! The 50-year-old star showed off her natural beauty when she shared a behind-the-scenes video of her It’s My Party tour to YouTube on Tuesday, August 27. In the nearly 10-minute long clip, we see a rare glimpse of a makeup-free J. Lo relaxing by the pool with her 11-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
“Everybody thought I was crazy when I wanted to go out and let everyone know that I was 50,” she joked in the clip. While soaking up the sun with her two kids, she wore a one-piece bathing suit and a pair of $253 Gucci shades.
“For me, it was important as a woman to do that to let people know that you don’t get to write women off at a certain point in their life,” she said about celebrating her age. “You’re getting better and better as you go so long as you are open to the experience of growing and evolving and to me that was very important to put out there.”
How exactly does Jennifer keep herself looking young? Well she credits her ageless beauty to “good genes.”
“My mom and my grandma had beautiful skin, so I was blessed with that. I’m fortunate in that way,” the “Medicine” singer shared on the Today show in 2014. Then four years later she told InStyle how important it is for her to get a full nights rest.
“The No. 1 tip is to always get enough sleep. I can’t stress this enough,” she admitted. “I would love to get nine or 10 hours of sleep, but either way, I always make sure I get at least eight.”
However, her top tip will always be putting yourself first. “Beauty comes from within — you have to keep your mind, soul, body and spirit in sync,” she said. “I am a firm believer in meditating and when you are happy and feel joy and love, you radiate beauty.”
J. Lo gives great advice!
