Jennifer Lopez Gushes Her Very First Valentine’s Day With Boyfriend Alex Rodriguez Was ‘Really Nice’

So romantic! When Jennifer Lopez recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she gushed about her very first Valentine’s Day with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez and said that it was extra special for her because they started dating right before the holiday in February 2017.

“It was nice,” Jennifer, 49, recalled. “I remember I was doing my show in Vegas and I got to Vegas and I flew in and I was tired and there were all these flowers, and chocolates and cake and I just went, ‘Who sent me all that?’ I didn’t know who it was because it was kind of new but it was really nice because it made me feel like, ‘Oh, he likes me.'”

Although Jennifer was smitten by 43-year-old Alex’s sweet gifts, she explained that he doesn’t have to do too much to impress her. “How many flowers is one expected to send Jennifer Lopez?” Jimmy Kimmel hilariously asked the Grammy-nominated artist. “Like if he got you a dozen roses that would be it, right?”

“No, people think that but honestly, it’s no. I know. It’s not like that,” Jennifer quipped. “I would appreciate [whatever he does] no matter what.” But for Jennifer, she still has a lot of shopping to do because she admitted she still hasn’t bought Alex’s gift for the romantic holiday this year.

“I have a couple of ideas. I know it’s tomorrow but I got some work to do in the morning,” she laughed during their Wednesday, February 13 chat. Since they recently purchased a $6.6 million Malibu beach house together, we’re sure that Jennifer’s gift is going to be nothing short of amazing.

“You make my world a more beautiful safe and stable place … in the midst of our ever-changing, ever-moving life … you make me feel like a teenager starting out all over again,” she previously gushed about her beau via Instagram. “Every time I think I have you pegged, you surprise me in the most wonderful ways reminding me how blessed I am to have found you.”
