Jennifer Lopez’s 9-Year-Old Daughter Emme Looks so Much Older Now — See the New Pic!
Nine going on 19?! Jennifer Lopez took to Instagram on Friday, Feb. 9 to share a photo of herself and her nine-year-old daughter, Emme Muñiz, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony. In the cute snap, the superstar’s little girl looks, well, not-so-little anymore. In fact, it looks like she became an adult overnight. With her face nestled next to her famous mom’s, there’s no denying that Emme is J.Lo’s mini-me. From their gorgeous eyes to their sweet smiles, the mother-daughter duo could almost pass for twins.
Jennifer — who also shares Emme’s twin brother, Maximilian “Max” Muñiz, with Marc, 49 — simply captioned the photo with a heart emoji. It makes sense that the “Us” songstress, 48, would use the symbol to sum up the relationship she has with her daughter. She has previously said that both Emme and Max, whom she affectionately calls her “lil coconuts,” are the “loves” of her life.
When her kids — who will turn 10 on Feb. 22 — turned nine last year, Jennifer celebrated the milestone with a touching message on Instagram. “I immediately felt bonded, protective, overwhelmed with emotion, and like the luckiest woman on this earth. And I’ve [since] felt that way every day since,” the Shades of Blue actress wrote in her emotional post. “You make me proud every single moment of every single day! You are two shining lights that make this world a better more beautiful place for me and everyone who is lucky enough to know you.”
During a March 2017 interview with the Today show’s Savannah Guthrie, the multi-hyphenate elaborated on the unconditional love she has for her children. “They just made my life so much better. You know what I mean?” Jennifer said at the time. “I’m forever grateful that I didn’t have kids until later, you know. I almost thought that it wasn’t going to happen for me, so I’m very aware that I was blessed with that and it could have been something different and so I don’t take it for granted one day.”
