Although Jennifer Garner tries to keep her kids as healthy as possible, she still loves treating her three little ones to her favorte snack, Oreos. But it’s her soon-to-be ex-husband, Ben Affleck, who gets all the credit as the “fun parent,” the mom-of-three recently explained. She revealed that it’s not every day that 12-year-old Violet, nine-year-old Seraphina, or six-year-old Samuel get to munch on Oreos — and usually it’s Ben who’s treating them.

“That would happen on such a special occasion. It’s such a moment!” she said at Vanity Fair’s Founders Fair, according to Page Six. “Or if Ben is around, that might happen and then he gets credit for it, and I want to be like, ‘I like Oreos too! I’m fun too!'”

But it seems that even if you are the fun parent, your kids will still find you embarrassing! Back in November 2017, Ben told Entertainment Tonight that to Violet, he’s totally embarrassing. “[For] my oldest daughter, I’m already embarrassing, you know what I mean?” he explained. “I’m like, ‘How can I be embarrassing? I’m Batman. That embarrasses you?’ She’s like, ‘Dad, pick me up down the street.”

Jen and Ben filed for divorce in 2017, after publicly separating two years prior. But recently, the Good Will Hunting actor has been having second thoughts. “She put her heart and soul into fixing the relationship and wanted so desperately to turn things around for the children’s sake as well as theirs. She forgave him for so much, and still he couldn’t change,” a source said to Us Weekly in March. “He’s begged her to come back several times, but she has no interest.” Luckily, it seems like co-parenting has been going well for the two former lovers — even if Ben does give the kids Oreos.
