Jennifer Aniston Is Reportedly On The Lookout For A Plus-One For Awards Season

So, does anyone want to hang out with Jennifer Aniston for a night? You might be able to because the Friends alum is apparently on the lookout for a plus-one for awards season.

A source told Life & Style — in the magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands now —that the 49-year-old is “dreading the thought of walking the red carpet alone.” According to the insider, the actress has even reached out to some of her famous pals like Jason Bateman, Jimmy Kimmel and Monica Gellar herself, Courteney Cox, to help her find a date. And if her famous friends don’t have an answer for her, Jennifer may even ask her yoga instructor Mandy Ingber for assistance in finding an awards show pal.

“Jen knows that whomever she chooses, the gossip will be relentless, but she says she’s actually OK with that,” the insider told the outlet. “She figures that people will talk about her if she goes alone anyway, so she might as well give them something to talk about!”

The Dumplin’ star hasn’t exactly been linked to anyone ever since she divorced actor Justin Theroux last year after being married from 2015 to 2017, as she’s reportedly been focused on herself instead. Late last year, Jennifer revealed to Elle that she was staying away from social media in order to reclaim her identity. “It’s just self-preservation,” she told the outlet about not having a Twitter, Instagram or Facebook account. “The one thing I have is maintaining this little circle of sanctity that’s my own. If I’m sitting here posting something about my dogs or I’m Boomeranging my coffee mug in the morning, that’s just giving away one more piece of something that is mine.”

And sure, Jennifer has had two marriages not work out (her first one was to Brad Pitt), but she also told the outlet that she still sees those relationships as positives. “My marriages, they’ve been very successful, in [my] personal opinion,” she explained. “And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness didn’t exist within that arrangement anymore.”

As for Jennifer’s plus-one hunt, there’s no word yet if she’s looking for a love connection or simply someone she can people watch with.
