Too cute! Jenna Bush Hager just shared the sweet story about how her daughters, Margaret “Mila” Laura and Poppy Louise, celebrated their TV correspondent mom’s birthday. “They decorated my room in the hotel when Henry and I went out,” the host shared live on Today on Nov. 26.

Jenna revealed that Mila, 5, and Poppy, 3, decked out the family’s hotel room at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia on Nov. 25 in honor of their mom’s 37th birthday. “I came home after maybe a cup of mulled wine or two,” Jenna said of the dinner she had with her husband, Henry Hager. “My door had streamers on it, and it said, ‘Happy birthday, Jenna,’ which was strange. Poppy’s started calling me Jenna.” Ha!

The story doesn’t end there, though. “They also wrote a sign for four reasons why they liked me or loved me, and the fourth was that without me, they would be in an orphanage,” Jenna continued. “Henry was like, ‘What about me? Am I chopped liver?'”

Jenna’s mother and the girls’ grandmother, Laura Bush, had to throw in a funny comment when she had the chance. “My mom was like, ‘They may be slightly dramatic like you,'” Jenna joked.

While the girls celebrated their mama’s birthday, Jenna took the time out of her festivities to write a tribute to her twin sister, Barbara Bush. The Instagram post included photos of the two embracing each other, the girls as newborns, and even photos from Barbara’s wedding. “Happiest Birthday to my first friend, my darling sissy who taught me how to love,” Jenna said. “Sending all my love to my magical, mermaid-loving, huge-hearted, extraordinary twin sissy!!!! Here’s to your best year yet!”

While the twins were separated on their actual birthday, the two celebrated together ahead of time on Nov. 18. “Wombmate.com!” Jenna captioned the photo of the twins blowing out candles. “Early birthday dinner with my favorite. (Thanks to our husbands!)”

Their mother, Laura, also paid homage to the women on their birthday. “Our two babies have grown up,” the former First Lady wrote in the caption of a photo of the girls as toddlers. “Happy 37th Birthday to Barbara and Jenna!”
