Jasmine Roth and Hubby Brett Are ‘Loving Every Minute’ of Living in Utah: ‘The Timing Was Right’

Help! I Wrecked My House star Jasmine Roth took a chance moving from sunny California to Park City, Utah with hubby Brett, but a source exclusively tells Closer she wouldn’t trade it for anything because she’s living the dream.

The television host, 40, shared the update alongside her husband and their daughter, Hazel, in a video posted on Instagram. “It’s the best news ever!” they announced happily. 

“Just taking a minute as a family to celebrate and most of all to say “THANK YOU” because I love making this show and I really love sharing it with all of you. Your support means the world,” she posted.

The source confirms that the couple and their children are getting settled in, saying, “They built their dream home and are moved in, putting some final touches on the property here and there. They’re snuggling in for the winter with their kids, shoveling snow and loving every minute of it.” 

With the show officially moving from the West Coast to Utah, the family is firmly planting roots in their new home state. “Jasmine also moved her remodeling business to Park City and season five of the HGTV show is shooting there and premieres in 2025,” the source says, adding, “She’s not looking back.”

While Pacific beaches are now a distant memory, the insider doubts they’ll miss the Cali lifestyle much: “They love the mountain air, and the people are warm and friendly.”

To pile on the good news for the couple, they recently added to their growing family, but only after having, “a terrible scare when their second baby, Darla, was born one month premature,” on September 7.

Jasmine has opened up about the health complications Darla faced after her premature birth. The delivery was so unexpected, she very nearly gave birth on the side of the road in Utah while stuck in traffic on the way to the hospital.

“I got up and was stomping around in the grass on the side of the highway (still yelping, hollering, screaming) trying to gather my composure. I was in so much pain, but also very scared. I was beyond frustrated. I knew I could physically handle an unmedicated birth, but I wasn’t in the right headspace. I was so caught off-guard that I was having a really hard time finding any peace or strength,” she wrote in an essay published in People in September. “I was terrified but didn’t want to admit it.”

Luckily, an ambulance arrived in time to take Jasmine to a hospital to deliver, but it didn’t go as smoothly as her first child, she wrote. “I was terrified. The pain was overwhelming. I kept putting my hand down and I could feel her little head, and I was overcome with fear that she wasn’t ready and I needed this all to go differently.”

Premature baby Darla “immediately filled a corner of my heart that I didn’t know was empty,” Jasmine penned.

While there was plenty of worry following the birth, the source adds, “She’s doing okay now, the baby’s home after spending two weeks in NICU.”

With the baby healthy and at home, the insider adds the new family of four is ready to begin their life in Utah.

“Jasmine and Brett always loved Park City and spent vacations there. A full-time move was huge, but Jasmine’s been aching to do this, and the timing was right.”
