'It Was Fun!'Jane Fonda Dishes on Her First On-Screen Kiss in 15 Years With ‘Grace and Frankie’ Costar Craig T. Nelson
Jane Fonda is kissing and telling!
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, May 14, the 77-year-old actress gushed about locking lips with her Grace and Frankie costar Craig T. Nelson — her first onscreen kiss in 15 years!
“It was a lot of fun… No tongue! We wanted it to be spontaneous,” Jane said of the smooch, which took place during the new Netflix series’ seventh episode.

“I left the business for 15 years… and if somebody had told me then that at 77 I would be back at a thing called Netflix… and that I would have my first kiss at 77 since 15 years I would say you’re crazy,” she continued.
Grace and Frankie — which premiered on May 8 — is a 13-episode series starring Jane and her former 9 to 5 costar and friend, Lily Tomlin, 75. The comedy follows two women, Grace (Jane) and Frankie (Lily), who are brought together after their husbands — played by Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen — announce they are in love with each other and plan to marry.

“Ever since I got old, I’ve wanted to give a cultural face to older women, and television is the place to do it,” Jane previously said of the show during an AOL BUILD interview before its premiere. “[Lily and I] had a lot of fun.”
During her appearance on Ellen, the Oscar-winning actress also played a fun game of “Never Have I Ever” with host Ellen DeGeneres where she confessed she joined the mile high club at age 50 during a flight with her now ex-husband, Ted Turner!
