Jane Fonda Admits She "Smokes Pot Every Now and Then" - Closer Weekly

At age 77, Jane Fonda has nothing to hide — including her recreational use of marijuana.

“I’ll smoke pot every now and then,” the actress revealed in the new issue of ‘DuJour’ magazine.

But the admission comes with a few exceptions. “I cannot see a movie on pot,” Jane explained. “The number of movies I’ve seen thinking, ‘This is probably the best I have ever seen,’ and then I’ll see it again sober and think, ‘What was I thinking?'”

In the interview, the ‘Georgia Rule’ star also opened up about growing older and said she now feels more confident in herself than ever before.

“I have a strong belief that older people have a greater sense of well being,” she said. “Older women in particular, it’s like, ‘What the hell do we have to lose?'”

“People always say, ‘Oh my God! How do you stay looking so blah blah blah.’ I’ve had plastic surgery. I’ve talked about that. That doesn’t matter. What matters is realizing you can always get better. That you have to keep taking leaps of faith. It gets harder as you get older. You have to stay brave and keep trying to go beyond your comfort zone and see what you need to get to become who you’re supposed to be,” she told ‘DuJour.’
