Jamie-Lynn Sigler Gives Birth to Baby No. 2 — Find out Her Son’s Adorable Name!
Congratulations are in order for Jamie-Lynn Sigler — she’s officially a new mom-of-two! The 36-year-old actress has given birth to her second child, a baby boy named Jack Adam Dykstra, she announced via Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 16. “He’s here. Jack Adam Dykstra, we will talk about your tardiness eventually, but for now, we’ve got a lot of love to give. Thanks to my besties for helping me laugh and smile and to my husband for just being my rock,” Jamie-Lynn captioned the first photo of herself cuddling her newborn son in the hospital.
The Sopranos star and her husband, baseball player Cutter Dykstra, 28, previously revealed they were expecting baby No. 2 in July 2017 with another Instagram post. “This is the actual pic I sent my husband this past Mother’s Day while lying on the bathroom floor. I had just returned from Israel, was jet-lagged, and didn’t believe my eyes. So had to obviously be @Clearblue 5x over sure,” Jamie-Lynn captioned a photo of herself next to five positive pregnancy tests. “We are SO excited to announce the #ClearblueConfirmed arrival of another little one in just a few short months.”
Jamie-Lynn and Cutter — who tied the knot in January 2016 — are already parents to a four-year-old son named Beau Kyle Dykstra who was born in August 2013. Shortly before she confirmed her second pregnancy, the actress opened up about her desires to expand her family after publicly revealing her Multiple sclerosis diagnosis. “If you ask [Beau], he says he likes it the way it is, but my husband and I are definitely thinking about expanding our family,” she said last summer.
“[Cutter] is an amazing dad. He is as present as he can be and he always wants to be there. He’s down to getting on the floor, he was down to changing a diaper. I couldn’t have asked for more. He’s one of the most present dads I’ve ever seen and I’m just lucky that he’s mine,” she continued. Congrats again to Jamie-Lynn and her family on their adorable new addition, baby Jack!
