Jaclyn Smith On Being Married To Brad Allen For 21 Years: ‘I’m Still A Lucky Girl’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Actress Jaclyn Smith is feeling sentimental! The Charlie’s Angels star got candid with Closer Weekly about how the last two decades with her husband, Brad Allen, have been more magical than she ever imagined. “Twenty-one years later and I’m still a lucky girl,” the actress gushed in an exclusive interview.

Jaclyn, 73, celebrated her anniversary with Brad on Oct. 11. Even after all these years, the couple still has a lot in common. “My husband and I love to travel,” Jaclyn revealed, “and we like to go to places we’ve never been.”

Last year, the lovebirds flitted throughout Europe, hitting romantic cities such as Vienna, Berlin, and Amsterdam. “Going the distance is great because you build a history together and memories,” Jaclyn said of the joy she’s found with Brad, who is her fourth husband. “We have similar values and upbringing. I want this one to be forever.”

In 2014, Jaclyn told Closer that she met Brad when he was working at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston as a heart surgeon. He had operated on Jaclyn’s father, and when she was leaving the hospital, her mother urged Brad to walk her to her car. “My mom didn’t want me walking down to the parking garage alone so he would walk me down,” she revealed. “Who would’ve dreamed it could have happened?” Way to go for being the matchmaker, mom!

“He’s kind and I saw a purity of heart,” the actress admitted. The couple soon began dating after that and we guess you could say the rest was history! “Looking back over time is wonderful,” she gushed to Closer.

As she gets older, Jaclyn realizes what really means the most to her. “It might sound corny or like a fairy tale, but what makes me the happiest — especially at my age now — is just being near the people I love,” Jaclyn said. And there’s clearly no one she adores more than her husband, Brad!
