Jaclyn Smith Reveals Her Favorite Memory of ‘Charlie’s Angels’ Costar Farrah Fawcett
She shared a set on Charlie’s Angels with Farrah Fawcett, but Jaclyn Smith remembers a lot more of her wonderful costar.
The 73-year-old attended the Farrah Fawcett Foundation’s Tex-Mex Fiesta in Beverly Hills on Friday, September 6, and discussed personal moments involving her late costar, and the close relationship they had. “Oh, I miss the friendship,” the actress exclusively told Closer Weekly. “The girlfriend’s laughing, talking about our history, our family. She loved her parents. I loved mine. We were family girls.”
“She was a loyal friend to girlfriends and you only have on one hand those kind that go the distance with you and share history,” the Golden Globe nominee continued. However, while it has been 10 years since Farrah passed away, Jaclyn also has her favorite memories of her.
“There’s so many. When she came to see me after my son was born in the hospital,” Jaclyn revealed. “The first one, first girlfriend to visit. Yeah. She said some funny things and Ryan [O’Neal] was waiting downstairs. She wanted it just to be us.” So sweet!
While Farrah was only a regular on the iconic ABC crime drama from 1976 to 1978, Jaclyn also recalls her favorite moment while on the job with her friend. “There was a show where I was crazy and I was hallucinating and we were in a car and almost wrecked us,” Jaclyn said. “And we were laughing and it was about this doll I had, Lilypad, and Beamish and I … Yeah. And her reaction, like, ‘What are you doing? You’re taking this role a little too seriously. You know?’ So, It was fun.”
Farrah passed away in 2009 after a battle with cancer. She was 62.
