Six months after giving birth to her second child, Ivanka Trump stuns on SHAPE magazine’s May 2014 issue that just hit newsstands.
On the cover, we see the 32-year-old businesswoman’s toned stomach and lean 5’11 frame, which is a major difference from when she showed off her baby bump on the cover of Fit Pregnancy’s October/November issue.
After putting on 30 pounds with newborn Joseph, Ivanka shares her secret to losing the baby weight – pictured four months after her son was born.
“I try to incorporate a little bit here and there,” she tells SHAPE. “I’ll take the stairs instead of the elevator, or when I’m on a phone call, I’ll do squats or pace the room while I’m talking.”
She also dishes on her favorite cardio activities including Spin classes, “Fusion Exercise” sessions with her trainer Rhonda and even yoga – with her 2-year-old daughter Arabella.
“She’ll grab a mat, lay it down next to mine, and show me her poses,” she says. “You should see her downward dog; it’s so sweet.”
After marrying Jared Kushner, Chairman of Observer Media Group, in 2009, Ivanka reveals the guilt she feels when she isn’t with her family.
“When I was in my 20s, I felt guilty if I didn’t exercise—now I feel guilty if I do,” she adds. “Even if it’s just an hour, that’s time I could be spending with my family. So rather than beat myself up, I find things that I like to do with them instead.”
Some activities she does with her husband, in addition to doing yoga with her daughter, is hitting the tennis court or playing 18 holes of golf with her beau.
“I try not to be too hard on myself. My husband reminds me that life is a marathon, not a spring,” she tells the magazine about balancing everything.
Trump, currently filming Season 14 of NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice, will return as a mentor when the reality show airs this upcoming fall.
