President Donald Trump‘s daughter, Ivanka Trump, has some sad news to share — her fashion company is closing. Page Six has reported that her eponymous brands will come to an end “ASAP.”

Ivanka chose a life at the White House with her father after his inauguration in January 2017. At that time, she revealed she’d be stepping down from all her business responsibilities while he’s in office.

However, soon after she moved to Washington DC, her line of shoes, purses, clothes, and accessories was dropped from major retailers including Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and more. “It’s just never recovered since she stepped away from the company,” a source told the news outlet.

The 36-year-old shared a statement regarding the issue. “When we first started this brand, no one could have predicted the success that we would achieve. After 17 months in Washington, I do not know when or if I will ever return to the business, but I do know that my focus for the foreseeable future will be the work I am doing here in Washington, so making this decision now is the only fair outcome for my team and partners,” Ivanka shared, adding that she is “beyond grateful for the work of our incredible team who has inspired so many women, each other and myself included. While we will not continue our mission together, I know that each of them will thrive in their next chapter.”

Abigail Klem, the company’s president, also commented on the matter. “I know that this was a very difficult decision for Ivanka and I am very grateful for the opportunity to have led such a talented and committed team. When faced with the most unique circumstances, the team displayed strength and optimism,” she said. We will miss Ivanka’s stylish items so much!
