Elizabeth and Philip were married on Nov. 20, 1947 at London's Westminster Abbey. At the time, Britain hadn't fully recovered from the devastation of World War II, so Elizabeth used ration coupons to buy the material for her wedding gown, which was designed by Norman Hartnell.

Prince William and Kate Middleton

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge exchanged "I Dos" on April 29, 2011 at London's Westminster Abbey in front of a globally televised audience of more than 300 million people!

Prince Rainier III of Monaco and Grace Kelly

The stunning film actress retired from showbiz to marry Prince Rainier on April 19, 1956. Following their religious ceremony, more than 20,000 people lined the streets of Monaco to greet the future Princess consort.

Prince Charles of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer

Prince Charles and the "People's Princess" were married on July 29, 1981 at St. Paul's Cathedral in London. The venue offered more seating for guests than Westminster Abbey. Diana's now infamous gown was valued at more than $13,000 and had a 25-foot train!

The Swedish prince married the stunning model on June 13, 2015 at Stockholm's Royal Palace chapel.

Prince Albert II of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock

Olympic swimmer Charlene first met her future husband, Prince Albert, in 2000 at the Mare Nostrum swimming meet in Monaco. The couple later married in a lavish wedding on July 2, 2011 and are now parents to twins!

Prince Andrew, Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip's third child, Prince Andrew, wed Sarah on July 23, 1986 after a four-month engagement. Sadly, the couple — who were set up by Princess Diana! — divorced in 1996.

King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson

The Duke and Duchess of Windsor made their controversial relationship official when they married in a low-key ceremony in 1937. Wallis wore a bespoke Mainbocher gown that is now owned by the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

King Felipe VI of Spain and Letizia Ortiz

On May 22, 2004 Prince Felipe married Letizia, an award-winning television journalist, at Madrid's Almudena Cathedral. The couple now have two daughters, Leonor, Princess of Asturias, and Infanta Sofía. In June 2014, Felipe ascended the throne and became King of Spain.

Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark and Mary Donaldson

Mary — who will later become Queen consort of Denmark when her husband ascends the throne — and Crown Prince Frederik married on May 14, 2004 at the Copenhagen Cathedral. The royal bride's long-sleeved gown was custom-made by Danish designer Uffe Frank and she completed the look with a century-old crown!
