'Sharknado' hunk Ian Ziering credits fellow 'Beverly Hills 90210' vet Jennie Garth for a lot more than just being a good costar — he owes finding a house to her!
"I'd been looking for about six months and couldn't find anything I really liked, so Jennie's mom said, 'Let me have a look for you.'" Ian tells 'Closer.' "This was the first house she showed me [in 1992]. The moment I stepped in, it felt like home."
The three-bedroom, two-bath, 1,975-square-foot home on a rolling acre in the Hollywood Hills is built in the mid-century modern style popular in this neighborhood. Ian, 50, was immediately taken with the house's "woodsy, earthy, rustic-industrial" vibe.

"Living here makes me feel like I'm in a tree house," he says with a smile. "My neighbor has a natural spring, so there's a brook that babbles year-round and gives us frog season, which is really nice. We also get a lot of critters — I've seen bobcats, possums, deer, raccoon and skunks."
Fortunately, he hasn't seen any of the flying sharks he's battled with a chainsaw in Syfy's first two 'Sharknado' films and the upcmoming sequel (inspiring his new 'Chainsaw' clothing line). "Sharknado is so much fun," says Ian, who is currently a contestant on 'Celebrity Apprentice.' "The next one is going to redefine the word 'epic.'"
