Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster Passionately Kiss in Public Amid Confirmed Relationship

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are done hiding their love and they don’t care who sees. The couple were spotted passionately kissing inside the Wolverine actor’s car while waiting for a quick bite to eat, days after confirming their relationship.

The pair locked lips while waiting for their order at an In-N-Out drive-thru in Los Angeles on Monday, January 13. Sutton, 49, grabbed The Greatest Showman star’s face in the heat of their sweet embrace as he leaned into the passenger’s seat for a deeper kiss, as seen in photos published by The Daily Mail.

Hugh, 56, and the Tony award-winning Broadway actress were also seen in what looked like surveillance footage from a parking garage, where they shared another kiss outside the vehicle.

The former Music Man costars confirmed their relationship by going on a public dinner date in Santa Monica on January 6. Hugh and Sutton held hands as they walked through the street following their meal, as each were dressed in casual date night attire.

Hugh donned off-white trousers and a grey T-shirt, which was tied together with a black collared bomber jacket. Meanwhile, Sutton looked elegant in a floor-length pine dress, which peeked through a tan trench coat.

Hugh and Sutton’s relationship marks each of their first following the end of each of their respective marriages.

Hugh and ex Deborra-Lee Furness ended their 27-year marriage and announced their separation in September 2023. They kicked off their joint statement by honoring their relationship and sharing “almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.”

“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth. Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness,” the statement read. “We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives. This is the sole statement either of us will make.”

Three months later, whispers swirled that Hugh and Sutton were secretly seeing each other after getting close while working on Music Man in 2020.

“Their romance is an open secret on Broadway,” a source told In Touch in December 2023. The source also told the outlet that Hugh “has been besotted with Sutton from the moment he met her. He followed her around like a puppy!”

Sutton found herself in a similar situation as Hugh the following year when she filed for divorce from estranged husband Ted Griffin in October 2024. They were married for 10 years after tying the knot in Santa Barbara, California, in 2014. The Anything Goes actress and Ted adopted their daughter, Emily, three years later.

In Touch reported in December 2024 that there hadn’t been movement in Sutton and Ted’s divorce. After publicly ending her marriage and with Hugh’s split from his wife confirmed, she and Hugh wasted no time putting their relationship on full display.

“Her connection with Hugh was something no one saw coming. They fell in love, plain and simple,” an insider exclusively told Closer in November 2024. “Now that Sutton and Hugh will both be divorced, they can confirm the truth. They are together.”
