Longtime actor Hugh Grant may keep his lips tightly sealed when it comes to his kids, but the Love Actually star can’t hide the fact that he’s so proud of his five children. Everything changed for the British actor when he became the dad of his blended family.

Hugh welcomed his eldest child, a daughter named Tabitha, in September 2011. At the time, the Notting Hill actor was involved with Chinese restaurant receptionist Tinglan Hong.

It wasn’t long at all before Hugh expanded his family as his son John was born the following year in September 2012. However, the Hollywood heartthrob welcomed the baby boy with Anna Elisabet Eberstein.

During that time, Hugh also had his third child in utero with Tinglan, according to reports. The former pair’s son Felix arrived just three months later in December 2012. The Four Weddings and a Funeral star then completed his family when Anna gave birth a daughter in March 2015, followed by another baby three years later in December 2018. Both of their names have yet to be revealed.

Although Hugh’s family life can get a little confusing, one thing that is certain is the actor’s love for his kids. Since marrying his longtime lady, Anna, in 2018, Hugh said he wishes he took a chance on marriage and fatherhood earlier in life.

“I should have done it before,” he told Today in 2018. “I’m just lucky. I’ve got a great wife. I love her.” Although Hugh once thought marriage was “nonsense,” he changed his mind after starting a family with the Swedish TV producer. “It just seemed like a nice, cosy thing to do.”

Aside from having Anna by his side for the last number of years, the Golden Globe winner said his heart feels more filled than ever since taking on the role of fatherhood.

“It’s just lovely to have all that love around,” he once gushed to People TV. “Suddenly you love someone more than yourself. It’s unheard of in my case and they love you and it’s all enchanting.”

Hugh will always be there for his kiddos!
