For the first time, Hugh Grant is speaking out about his third love child with Swedish television producer Anna Eberstein. Although the boy was born in September 2012, the actor's paternity was just revealed this past January.
Although the Brit's romance with the two-year-old's mother has ended, he said they remain close. "We are very good friends and she’s a very good mother," Hugh told the Swedish newspaper Nöjesbladet.
Although notoriously private about his personal life, the 54-year-old recently gave a rare interview to the publication. He also has a daughter and son with girlfriend Tinglan Hong, and all three babies were born within 15 months of each other. Hong and Eberstein overlapped pregnancies for five months.
The Love Actually star said he sees his son with Eberstein "all the time — most days," and that his relationship with the boy is "excellent," adding, "I love him very much."
Both women reportedly live within walking distance of Hugh's townhouse in Fulham, West London. Eberstein is said to have moved into a $4.3 million home about a month after their son was born and Hong lives in a $1.9 million terrace house bought by the actor.
In April 2012, just five months before his first son's birth, Hugh told a U.S. talk show that having children was "life-changing...I recommend it."
