Who Will Host the 2017 Oscars? We’ve Got the Answer!

Viewers can’t wait to see their favorite A-list celebrities walk the red carpet this Sunday — but one question remains: Who will host the 2017 Oscars?

And the answer is Jimmy Kimmel! The comedian will lead the 89th Academy Awards on Feb. 26 — and we can hardly wait to see him take the stage! This is the first time the star of the talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! will host the special event.

Jimmy, however, isn’t standing up there for free! In a previous interview, the TV star revealed how much he’s being paid to host the award show. Place your bets on what he’ll be making…

“I’m not sure I was supposed to reveal this,” he continued with a laugh. “But nobody told me not to. I consider this their fault.”

Jimmy first announced he’s hosting the 2017 Oscars during Jimmy Kimmel Live! in early December. He subsequently revealed he and his wife, Molly McNearney, are expecting Baby No. 2!

Shortly after the confession, the celebrity dad joked he didn’t tell some of the most important people in his life about his new hosting gig. “I forgot to tell my parents, and then they found out online,” the 49-year-old said. “So, that’s probably the best feedback I got.”
