Hoda Kotb’s Fiancé Joel Carries Christmas Tree in Sweet Pics Featuring Daughter Haley
Now that’s how you kick off your holiday. Hoda Kotb‘s family is getting in the Christmas spirit, as her fiancé Joel Schiffman helped carry a tree all while holding on to their daughter Haley Joy.
The Today star took to Instagram on Saturday, December 7, to share a few different photos of her man, 61, doing all he can to get a Christmas tree home. However, he was pulling double duty, as Haley Joy, 2, hung out on his shoulders. “Got ours!” Hoda wrote alongside the snaps.
People were loving the sweet post, as they took to the comments section to respond. “Memories in the making!” one person said. Another added, “This picture gives me all the feels.” Some fans even pointed out the fact that Joel wasn’t exactly wearing the appropriate clothing for the cold weather. “I love that he always wears shorts!” a commenter noted.
Hoda and Joel also share another little one, Hope Catherine — but the financier has a 25-year-old daughter named Kyle from a previous relationship. And according to his eldest child, he is all about his children, so it is no surprise to see him going above and beyond for all of them.
“He hasn’t really changed. He’s still just a great dad,” Kyle exclusively told Closer Weekly of her father. “He and I always have time to hang out and see each other. He’s great with the girls. I know he adores the ground that all three of us walk on and he’s just a great dad and it’s cool to see that my family of me and him kind of grew now.”
“I love having them as officially now my two little step-sisters. It’s kind of cool.” Hoda and Joel recently announced their engagement — something that Kyle is all about!
“It’s great to finally see just the two of them are so happy and they love doing the same thing,” Kyle gushed to Closer after the happy pair announced the news of their engagement on November 25. “They just enjoy each other’s time and they’re perfect for each other and I love them both so much!”
It sounds like this family is filled with so much love for one another!
