“She’s so happy to see you, Mamma!” one of Hoda’s nearly 800,000 Instagram followers commented on the pic with another person similarly adding, “I think two people really missed you Hoda, glad you are back home with your beautiful family!” Then, on Monday, Feb. 26, the Today show posted the most precious video montage of all the NBC stars — Hoda, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker, and Dylan Dreyer — returning home and reuniting with their families after the Winter Olympics in South Korea.

“We’re crying watching @SavannahGuthrie, @HodaKotb, @AlRoker, and @DylanDreyerNBC reunite with their families after the Olympics!” the official Today account captioned the video. Not surprisingly, the clips made many Today show fans super emotional. “Oh Lord, I’m cryin’ my eyes out! This is sooo sweet!” one person commented with another writing, “This is so beautiful!! Made my day seeing this!

During a recent joint interview, both Hoda and Savannah, 46, opened up about the hardships of being without their children while in South Korea. “I mean, it’s an adjustment. There’s no question. When you’re a mom, your heart is always where your kids are,” Savannah told Entertainment Tonight. Hoda added, “Savannah’s daughter just FaceTimed her and it was the cutest thing. She was playing Bananagrams, and it’s a moment in her life. She was spelling words and it was like the coolest little moment and that will sustain us. You get one of those and you go, ‘OK.'” We’re so glad Hoda and Savannah are back in NYC!
