We’re not sure! While Hoda has never revealed the location of Haley’s birth, we do know the baby was born on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017.

Hoda revealed to E News! in October that her baby girl is already standing up! And even though she is in her “teething and not sleeping phase,” the talk show host says it’s fine because she’s slept for 53 years already! Too funny…
Her cutest milestone, though? Her little giggle. “The sweetest sound on the planet earth is her belly laughing to me. More than anything else I’ve ever heard, anything, ever,” Hoda shared. “I can’t contain myself, she is everything… she’s everything.”
What is Haley’s full name?
Hoda’s daughter is named Haley Joy Kotb. While calling in to Today after the adoption, Hoda revealed the special meaning behind her little girl’s moniker. “Haley is because of Halley’s Comet,” she told co-stars Kathie Lee Gifford and Jenna Bush Hager. “It was one of those things where I just picture her sailing through the sky.”
Hoda revealed her sister, Hala also helped pick Haley’s name. “My sister and I were talking on the phone and she was saying, ‘You know, I’m Hala, you’re Hoda, our niece is Hana — what about Haley?'”
As for Haley’s sweet middle name? That was a bit easier for Hoda to choose. “Joy, just because she brings us joy,” the proud new mom said. “She’s got a beautiful way about her.”

Is Hoda married?
No, but she does have a serious boyfriend. She’s been dating NYC financier Joel Schiffman — who has an adult daughter of his own, Kyle, from a previous marriage — since 2013 and the pair moved into Hoda’s apartment last year. And a source recently exclusively revealed to Closer Weekly that they’re talking about marriage!
Hoda has been married once. She previously tied the knot with University of New Orleans tennis coach Burzis Kanga in 2005, but they later divorced in 2007 after just two years of marriage.

Did Hoda adopt Haley as a single mother?
Since Haley has Kotb as her last name, we can infer Hoda adopted the baby girl as a single mom. However, Joel has been and will play a big part in Haley’s life. “She never wanted to pressure Joel into doing anything. She was stunned when he suggested she and Haley move in with him,” an insider previously told Closer Weekly. “They had long discussions about the future. Joel told Hoda he wants to marry her and raise Haley. Of course, she was thrilled.”
Hoda said in a subsequent interview, “Haley will call him Dad. [Joel] has been so great. He’s such a great dad and a great influence.” We’re so happy for the perfect family-of-three!
