Congratulations are in order! Hoda Kotb has adopted another girl, the Today show cohost announced on the April 16 show. Hoda, 54, became a first-time mom when she adopted her oldest daughter, Haley Joy Kotb, in 2017. Her new bundle of joy’s name is Hope Catherine.

During the morning program, Savannah Guthrie surprised viewers when she randomly interrupted Today‘s meteorologist Dylan Dreyer to break the exciting news. “Dylan, I’m so sorry. I’ve never done this to you before. I’m so sorry. I think I have a good popstart story to share with you guys. It’s an exclusive,” she said on-air. “I think you’re going to want to hear this. There’s someone on the phone right now and I think she’s there. Hoda, are you there?”

“Oh I’m here. Hi, guys!” Hoda, answered. “Do you have something to tell us?” Savannah replied before her colleague took a quick pause and said, “Yes I do. It’s a girl!” Watch the sweet clip below:

Since welcoming Haley Joy with her boyfriend, Joel Schiffman, two years ago, Hoda has been very open about welcoming another child. “We like the idea of Haley [having] a sibling because she has had such interesting circumstances to grow up,” she recently told Entertainment Tonight. “So it would be nice to be able to share it with somebody.”

Even though taking care of a baby is a lot of hard work, Hoda wouldn’t trade it for the world. “One of the things I’ve always wanted was to be a mom … There was a hole [in my life]. People would say, ‘Oh, do you have kids?’ And I’d feel like, ‘Ouch.’ I knew inside it was supposed to be for me.,” she previously admitted to People.

Now that she has a second baby at home, Hoda finally feels like she has everything that she’s ever dreamed of.  “I guess if you’ve been waiting this long for something, and you wish for it, pray for it, hope for it, wonder if it will ever be, and then it happens, nothing’s more real,” she gushed. “Nothing. It’s one of those things where you think you’ve done it all, you think you’ve felt it all. But I just didn’t know that this kind of love existed.”
